INPhO Exam Date

Pointers on Exam

The Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education organises the INPhO exam. Students in grades 11 and 12 must first pass the NSEP exam to be eligible for the INPhO exam. This exam is used to screen candidates for the Physics Orientation-Cum-Selection-Camp and to select candidates to represent India in the International Physics Olympiad exam. Exam Date

The INPhO exam is organised by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education and is held annually on the last Sunday of January or the first Sunday of February for students in the upper secondary level. Eligibility Standard

The following are some requirements for taking the INPhO exam. Before applying for the test, candidates are advised to double-check that they meet all of the qualifying requirements.

Candidates who have not started university or institution studies before June 1st must have an Indian passport.
The candidate is not permitted to participate in NSEJS 2021.
The candidate must be a resident of India and have been studying in India since November 30, 2018, and has not finished the 12th board exam before the mentioned date.
The candidate’s date of birth should be between July 1, 2001, and June 30, 2006 (both days are included).
