PRMO Class 9 Syllabus

On behalf of the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM), the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) organises the Mathematical Olympiad. All students will be able to compete in the second stage of the Mathematical Olympiad RMO (Regional Mathematical Olympiad), if they pass the PRMO exam.

The HBCSE PRMO Syllabus is different for each class, and students must study their syllabuses for each category. The Syllabus for PRMO is provided by the MTA (Mathematics Teachers’ Association). The PRMO curriculum is primarily focused on classroom basics. In the final exam, you’ll be provided with various complex problems. Algebra, inequalities, geometry, number theory, and combinatorics are all covered in the PRMO syllabus for Class 9. Statistics and calculus are not included in the curriculum.
