CG TET Exam Pattern

The CG TET(Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test) is one of the most important exams for candidates who aspire to be a teacher in the government schools of Chhattisgarh. The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB) conducts CG TET to recruit teachers in the state of Chattisgarh.

CG TET Exam Pattern

CG TET is conducted in offline mode. It is a pen and paper based examination. The examination is held in two different shifts i.e., Paper I and Paper II. The exam pattern for  CG TET is given below.

CG TET Paper 1

The CG TET Paper 1 is conducted for primary category teachers (classes 1 to 5). The paper consists of  5 subjects and 150 objective type questions. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking. The duration of the paper is 2 hours 30 minutes. The exam pattern of CG TET Paper 1 is given below

CG TET Paper 2

CG TET Paper 2 is conducted for higher Primary category teachers (classes 6 to 8). The paper consists of  4 subjects and 150 objective type questions. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking. The duration of the paper is 2 hours 30 minutes. The exam pattern of CG TET Paper 2 is given below

Note: The Maths & Science teachers need to opt for Mathematics & Science subject, while Social Science teachers need to opt for Social Science as a subject on the question paper
