Geometry Formulas For Class 11

The below table provides all the important geometry formulas that is included in class 11 Syllabus. The formulas in the table ate  are frequently used in class 11 geometry to calculate areas, lengths and volumes. Distance Formula \(\left | P_{1}P_{2} \right |=\sqrt{\left ( x_{2}-x_{1} \right )^{2}+\left ( y_{2}-y_{1} \right )^{2}}\)
Slope \(m=\frac{rise}{run}=\frac{\Delta y}{\Delta x}=\frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}\)
Point-Slope Form \(y-y_{1}=m\left ( x-x_{1} \right )\)
Point-Point Form \(y-y_{1}=\frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}\left ( x-x_{1} \right )\)
Slope-Intercept Form \(y=mx+b\)
Intercept-Intercept Form \(\frac{x}{a}+\frac{y}{b}=1\)
General Form \(Ax+By+C=0\)
Parallel & Perpendicular Lines \(Parallel \; m_{1}=m_{2}\)
