GSEB SSC Timetable

The GSEB SSC Timetable plays an important role in helping students prepare for the Class 10 board examinations. It gives students the details of the exam schedule including the date and time of the exam. This year, the GSEB Class 10 Board exam was conducted from 14th March 2023 to 28th March 2023.

GSEB Exam Pattern

Understanding the exam pattern is very important to help students prepare for the exam. Here is the 2023 GSEB SSC Board exam pattern:

  • The students will be given 3 hours and 15 minutes to write the GSEB Class 10 board exam.
  • The Class 10 board exam is conducted for the following subjects: First language ( Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, Sindhi, English, Tamil, Telugu and Odia), Social Science, Science and Technology, Mathematics, Second language (Gujarati, English, Hindi, Sindhi, Sanskrit, Farsi, Arabic and Urdu).
  • The GSEB question paper for each subject is designed for a total of 100 marks. Each paper is divided into 2 parts, Part A and Part B. Part A has theoretical aptitude questions whereas Part B has objective type multiple choice questions (MCQ).
  •  The students will have to score a minimum of 33% in each subject to pass the GSEB SSC board examination.

  • Total Number of Students: Every year, approximately 7.7 lakh – 8.6 lakh students appear for the GSEB SSC Board exam.  The numbers showed a remarkable increase in the year 2021, when 8,57,204 students appeared for their Class 10 GSEB Exams.   • Overall Pass Percent: The performance of students in SSC GSEB has shown a nearly consistent trend. In 2016, 67.06% of the students had passed, and this percentage increased in 2017, with 68.24% of the students passing. The percentage dipped low in 2020 when 60.64% of the students passed. However, in 2021, all of the students appearing for the 10th SSC exams had successfully qualified. 2023 saw an overall pass percentage of 64.62% as compared to 65.18% of 2022.
