HTET exam is conducted in two ways. Question paper is different for Pre-Primary, Primary, and Senior Level teachers. Primary teachers till grade 5 need to appear in the Level-1 exam, teachers for grades VI-VIII have to appear for Level-2, and other PGT teachers have to appear for the Level-3 exam.
HTET is an offline exam with pen and paper mode. Its question paper has 150 MCQs with four options in each question.
The question paper comes in English and Hindi, with no negative marking. In the HTET question paper, one must score 60%, which is 90 marks.
HTET Solved Question Paper Pattern-Level Wise
Level 1
This question paper is for primary teachers for classes I-V. It includes questions from five subjects, Language (Hindi or English), General Studies, Pedagogy, Environmental Studies, and Mathematics.
Level 2 & 3
These question papers are for elementary teachers for classes VI-VII and IX-XII, respectively. Subjects in it are General Studies, Languages (English & Hindi), Pedagogy, Child Development, Opted Subject.
The Language paper has 15 MCQs in Hindi and English. Each question is one mark, and the total Subject sums up to 30 marks.
General Studies questions in the HTET question paper are divided into three sections. Ten questions come from quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability consists of 10 questions, and Haryana general Knowledge and awareness also consists of 10 questions. These 30 questions sum up to 30 marks.
Pedagogy and Child Development, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies include 30 MCQs in each Subject for 90 marks.
