Combined Defence Services Exam Centres

The Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exams will be carried out in examination centres designated by the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC). The UPSC reserves the right to change the exam centres at their discretion if the situation demands it.

Key Points to remember about CDS Exam Centres

  • Allotment of Centres will be on the first-apply-first-allot basis and once the capacity of a particular centre is attained, the same will be frozen.
  • Applicants who cannot get a centre of their choice due to a ceiling will be required to choose a Centre from the remaining ones. Applicants are, thus, advised that they may apply early so that they could get a Centre of their choice.
  • Candidates will be informed of the exam centre through the admit card. The CDS admit card will include the name of the exam centre and the date and time of reporting.
  • No request to change the exam centre will be entertained by the conducting authority.
