Detailed Syllabus and UPSC SCRA subjects
The UPSC SCRA Subjects are selected by the authorities in such a way that the candidates’ knowledge about a vast range of topics gets tested. The detailed subjects of the syllabus of the two phases mentioned by the UPSC authority are given below:
Phase I: Paper I
1) General Ability:
a) Psychological Test: The questions in this part are based on mechanical aptitude and basic intelligence.
b) English: This part contains questions to test the command in the English Language of the Candidate
c) General Knowledge: This part comprises questions to test the general awareness of the candidate. The questions can revolve around the surrounding environment, history, information about the society, politics, etc. The questions in the tests are of 12 standards mostly.
Paper-II: Physical Science

Phase II: Personality Test
Candidates who will be able to clear the first phase of the written exam will go to the next phase. The main objective of the Personality Test is to analyse the candidate’s leadership initiative and other qualities. The successful candidates after this phase will be selected for a training session, and then, final recruitment will follow.
