In 2017, IIM Lucknow provided the CAT answer key for the first time in the history of the CAT Exam, with a cost of Rs. 1000 for each objection. This was done to ensure transparency and assist applicants in estimating their probable score prior to the scheduled release of the final result. Aspirants should be aware that the window for submitting objections will only be open for a limited time. After the deadline, the administration will not consider any objection forms. Highlights of the IIM CAT Answer Key
 The CAT answer key is released in the first week of December every year. They can be downloaded using the CAT login credentials created during registration.
 Only those candidates who have appeared for the CAT Exam will be able to obtain the CAT answer keys. Candidates who have only registered but have failed to appear for the exam will not have access to the answer key.
 Candidates can access the CAT answer key for the question paper for the attempted slot. A candidate will not be able to view the answer keys for any slots that they have not taken.
 The CAT experts will examine the objections received for the CAT answer key. If there is no revision in the CAT answer key, the objection will be dismissed and the objection fee will not be refunded. Furthermore, if the candidate’s objection to the questions is found to be valid, the fee will be refunded.
 The CAT revised answer key will include comprehensive solutions for all the questions asked from the three sections namely: Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA)
CAT Answer Key 2021
CAT Answer Key 2021 was released by IIM Ahmedabad on 8th December 2021. Candidates were allowed to raise the objections till 11th December, 2021, 5:00 PM. The CAT expert panel reviewed the objections for CAT 2021, and one of 161 questions was valid. There were no changes made to the VARC and DILR sections. In Shift 3, one objection for a nonnegative marking type question from the QA section was revised. IIM Ahmedabad released the revised answer key on 5th January and the scorecards.

CAT Answer Key for 2020
 IIM Indore released the CAT 2020 answer key on 8th December 2020.
 Notably, CAT 2020 was conducted in three slots owing to the pandemic. IIM Indore released the answer key for all three slots.
 The objection management tab for CAT 2020 was open from 8th December 2020 till 11th December 2020.
 There were no revisions in the questions asked in Shift 1 & Shift 3 after the CAT experts evaluated the objections; However, the answer key for one question with Question ID 48916812935 in the QA part of Shift 2 was revised.
 The revised answer key was released on 31st December 2020 and the CAT 2020 results were published by IIM Ahmedabad on 2nd January 2021.

How to Download CAT Answer Key
 Step 1: Go to iimcat.ac.in, the official website of CAT.
 Step 2 â€“ On the right side of the screen, select the “registered candidate login” option.
 Step 3 â€“ Enter the appropriate login credentials (Login ID andPassword).
 Step 4 â€“ Select the candidate response option from the tabs listed above.
 Step 5 – This option allows you to download your CAT answers for the slot in which you took the CAT exam, and verify each answer with the correct response choice marked in green.
CAT Answer Key Objection
Candidates who take the CAT exam can raise objections to the provisional answer key when it is released. Candidates had the option to raise objections to the CAT 2021 answer key from 8th December – 11th December 2021. This is not a mandatory procedure and applies only to candidates dissatisfied with any answer or in case of any error. The step by step process to raise an objection is outlined below.
How to Submit an Objection to CAT Answer Key
 Step 1: Once you have downloaded the answer key, click on the “Objection Form” option next to the candidate response tab.
 Step2: Select the question number, section, and type of objection. Choose one of the three options below.
 None of the options is a correct answer.
 The answer key is incorrect.
 More than one option is a correct answer.
 Step 3: After selecting the type of objection, candidates are given the option to add up to 500 words of remarks when raising an objection to any question.
 Step 4: Pay the objection fee of Rs.1200.
 Step 5: Submit your response after thorough revision.
*There are no restrictions on the number of objections a candidate can make. However, it is important to note that there is an objection fee of Rs.1200 for every objection raised, and no changes will be accepted after submission.
