The General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC) is a reinsurance company that organises an annual recruitment examination to choose competent candidates for the job of Assistant Manager (Scale-I). Candidates who pass the GIC recruitment exam are allocated to GIC offices in India and throughout the world. The primary selection happens for the Head Office in Mumbai; however, postings are contingent on the needs of the Corporation.
