Overview of the Eligibility Criteria for the Post of the EPFO Social Security Assistant (SSA) 2023
An overview of the eligibility criteria laid down by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) for the Social Security Assistant (SSA) exam is given in the tables below.

Points to Remember: EPFO SSA Eligibility Criteria
- There is no age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL (Non Creamy Layer) applicants who apply against unreserved vacancies.
- PwBD applicants who wish to apply against UR vacancies will get relaxation in the upper age limit as applicable to the UR PwBD candidates only.
- Candidates should ensure that they fill in the correct date of birth in the online application form. It should be the same as the date of birth given in the Matriculation/SSLC/Xth Class or an equivalent certificate.
- Candidates are not allowed to make any changes in the online application form after its submission. Hence, candidates should carefully go through the official notification and guidelines given by the EPFO before applying for the exam.
- Applications of those candidates who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria will not be considered.
- In case a candidate is eligible for age relaxation on more than one ground, then he/she will be given the highest age relaxation for which she/he is eligible.
- Candidates who have not got their final examination results are not eligible to apply for the EPFO SSA exam.
