All living organisms, including plants, animals, and microorganisms, use air. Depending on the speed, air movement is called breeze or wind.
Breathing is a necessary component of respiration. We take in oxygen-rich air and expel carbon dioxide-rich air.
Air helps in breathing, dispersal of seeds, movement of aeroplanes, yachts and in various other fields.
There are five layers to the atmosphere. It is thickest near the surface and gradually thins out with height until it merges with space.
