Know About SSLC Karnataka
The KSEEB(Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board) stands out to be one of the most distinguished boards in India for education. No wonder, it is arguably called the education hub of India. It is looking at a long term plan that intends to sow seeds of a better quality education than existing ones to reap benefits from a flourishing youth.
According to the Gok(Government of Karnataka), if the Vision 2020 guidelines are followed systematically, the state could see a massive jump in the student enrollment from an 18% to a whopping 35% which could be attained either by forming more number of institutions or by increasing the number of enrollments.
Total Marks in SSLC Karnataka
Karnataka State Board SSLC exams were earlier written for a total of 625 marks and is now for 500 marks (80 marks each for five papers and 100 marks for the first language). However, 20 marks for the five papers will be added from the internal assessments as well. Meanwhile, the total marks in SSLC Karnataka Language paper-1 including Kannada, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Urdu and so on are 100 marks.
Passing Marks in SSLC Karnataka
The passing marks in SSLC Karnataka are minimum 35% marks in each subject out of the total 100 marks. The same is applicable to pass in compartmental exams, as well.
Duration of SSLC Exams
This year, the KSEEB SSLC exam is scheduled to commence on 25 June 2020 and will end on 03 July 2020. Each exam is expected to be for a total duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes.
