Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection (IBPS) conduct an online written exam “Common Written Examination” for the recruitment of aspiring candidates for Probationary Officer vacancy. The first phase of CWE is prelims once the candidate clears it, he/she is would be moving forward with Mains.
CWE is conducted online which consists of all objective type questions. If the question is left blank, no negative marking would be done for that particular question. All the tests except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi. Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test and also a minimum total score to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cutoffs will be decided and candidates will be shortlisted for interview.
Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the online examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.
IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2017- Mains
This test is also conducted in objective type pattern. The duration is 2 hours consisting of 5 subjects namely Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, General Awareness, Computer and English.
