Difference between Public Cloud and Private Cloud

Both public and private clouds are models of cloud computing. In this article, we will discuss some major differences between public cloud and private cloud.

What is Public Cloud?

A public cloud is a model of cloud computing services where all the resources, hardware, software and infrastructure is dedicated to a public network. In simple words, we can say that it is linked to the public Internet.

What is a Private Cloud?

A private cloud is a prototype of cloud computing where all the resources, hardware, software and infrastructure is dedicated to a private network or a single user. When it comes to the private cloud, it comprises only single-occupant architecture and genuine users.

Difference between Public Cloud and Private Cloud
