Is GATE Tougher than JEE?

GATE is a graduate exam, while JEE is just an undergraduate exam. JEE advanced, meanwhile, is to be considered for getting admissions into the IITs.

Normally, the JEE exam competition is considered high as it is based on the CBSE Class 11 and 12 syllabi, and almost everyone who is pursuing the Science branch is most likely to appear for this exam. For the convenience of the candidates, the exam is held online, with the questions put forward in a random sequence. Candidates also have the option to choose from the available and accepted combination of subjects for the exams.

The exam also does not have any negative marking for MSQs and NATs. Meanwhile, whereas for one mark MCQ, 1/3 mark will be deducted for an incorrect answer, and for two marks MCQ, 2/3 marks will be deducted for an incorrect answer. Therefore, the JEE exam pattern for Main papers is accounted for as four marks for the correct answer, -1 marking for the wrong answer, and 0 for the unanswered question.
