SSC GD Notification 2023: SSC GD Recruitment

SSC GD 2023 Notification will be released after the recruitment process for 2022 is complete. The SSC GD 2022 exam process is underway to fill a total of 50,187 vacancies. Candidates need to appear at each selection stage to get recruitment in the desired force under the CAPF. SSC GD Constable Notification 2022 was released by the Commission to recruit 50,187 posts of constables for both males and females. The online registration process will be active till 30th November 2022.

Under the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Staff Selection Commission administers the General Duty (GD) exam. Thousands of applicants want to pursue a career in the SSC, and recruitment is done every year. Previously, the Commission announced the SSC GD Constable 2021 Notification in order to fill 25271 constable positions for both men and women.

The Staff Selection Commission holds the SSC GD Constable exam at the national level to select candidates for the positions of Rifleman (General Duty) and Constable (General Duty) in the following forces:

• Indo Tibetan Border Police Force – ITBP
• Border Security Force – BSF
• Central Industrial Security Force – CISF
• Assam Rifles – AR
• Secretariat Security Force – SSF
• Sashastra Seema Bal – SSB
• Central Reserve Police Force – CRPF
• National Investigation Agency – NIA

In order to fill 50,187 General Duty Constable positions for the fiscal year 2022–2023, the Staff Selection Commission is conducting a recruitment drive. Key Points About Filling Vacancies:

1. For ex-servicemen, 10% of the openings are designated (ESM). Vacancies designated for ESM will be filled by non-ESM candidates of the appropriate categories if suitable ESM candidates are not available.
2. The openings are tentative. Any change in the number of positions will be announced on the Commission’s website.
3. The assignment of candidates upon selection is contingent upon seats being available in the training facilities of different CAPFs.
4. Candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in India.

SSC GD Vacancy 2021:

Important Points – 

1. The vacancies are Tentative. Any change in the number of vacancies will be intimated through the website of the Commission
2. Candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in India
3. 10% vacancies are earmarked for Ex-servicemen (ESM). If suitable ESM candidates are not available, vacancies reserved for ESM will be filled by non-ESM candidates of respective categories.
4. As the vacancies in CAPFs have been earmarked States/ UT-wise, candidates are required to submit Domicile/ Permanent Residential Certificate of the State/ UT indicated by them in the online Application Form at the time of DME/ Documents Verification failing which his/her candidature will be cancelled forthwith and the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the Detailed Medical Examination.

SSC GD Vacancy 2018

SSC has again revised SSC GD vacancy 2018 on December 16th, 2019. SSC has now announced a total of 60210 SSC GD vacancy for GD Constable Post in CAPFs Departments.

SSC GD Recruitment Apply Online

The SSC GD 2022 exam online application process began on October 27th, 2022, and the deadline to apply for the SSC GD constables recruitment 2022 was November 30th, 2022. For the SSC GD Constable 2023 exam, thousands of applicants are keen to fill out their online applications.

SSC GD Application Fee:

As per the SSC GD Notification 2023, application fee for taking the exam was Rs. 100/-. However, women candidates, Ex-Servicemen, and SC/ ST candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

The fee for SSC GD apply online process can be either paid through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using Visa/ Mastercard/ Maestro Credit/ Debit card.

SSC GD Examination Centres

While filling up the online SSC GD Application Form, a candidate has the option to choose the examination centre of his/ her preference.

SSC GD Admit Card

Upon completion of the SSC GD online application procedure, the SSC GD recruitment admit card is released soon enough.

Applicants who successfully fill the SSC GD Constable recruitment application form 2023 exam will be able to download the exam call letter two weeks before the examination from the website of the concerned SSC Regional Office upon intimation. The tentative date to download the SSC GD Admit Card is in January 2024.

For the last Constable recruitment exam, Applicants who had successfully filled the were able to download the exam call letter on 03rd January 2023.

SSC Online Admit Cards or call letters for GD Constable PET/ PST are issued by SSC through online mode only.

Detailed Programme of PET/ PST and Medical Examination is made available on the website of SSC, at least two weeks before PET/ PST or Medical Examination.

It has been reported that in SSC GD 2021 recruitment a total of 2,85,201 candidates were selected for PST and PET rounds of the exam. Out of this, about 31657 were female candidates and 253544 were male applicants.
