(i)After applying a penalty for incorrect responses, the Corrected Score is calculated using the number of questions answered properly by a candidate in each objective test.

(ii)To arrive at the Equated Scores, the Corrected Scores earned by a candidate are rendered comparable to account for any slight differences in difficulty level, if any, in each of the objective tests taken in various sessions.

* * Candidates’ test scores are equated to the base form by taking into account the distribution of scores across all forms.

(iii) Individual test results and overall scores are provided with a decimal point up to two digits.

Cutoffs are implemented in two stages:

  • based on individual test results
  • based on the total score
