Civil Services (Main) Examination 2014: Final Results Declared

The UPSC has announced the results of the UPSC civil services mains written exam. About 3300 candidates have been declared as cleared the mains written exam and now will be called for the UPSC Personality test likely to begin from the 27th of April 2015. The mains written exam is the second step in getting closer to your IAS dream. After this, there is only one more hurdle to leap over, the UPSC personality test/interview. 

UPSC Result 2014 Mains

About 9 lakh candidates had applied for the UPSC Prelims exam out of which only about 4.5 lakhs actually took the exam. About 17000 candidates cleared the prelims and were eligible for the 2014 mains exam. Out of this number, around 3300 candidates have cleared the mains written exam and are now awaiting the summons for the UPSC interview. 

When attending personality test, candidates should furnish their original documents regarding proof of age, educational qualifications, category, physical handicap (if applicable) and other mandatory documents like TA Form, etc. Candidates are advised to keep the required certificates and documents ready well in advance.

The first batch of the e-Summon letter will be made available on the UPSC official website latest by 18th April 2015. The commission will not entertain any request for a change in the venue and date of the UPSC interview. The venue for the interview or personality test will be:
