Lakhs of candidates appear for UPSC Examination. The number of candidates registered for UPSC Prelims 2016 is approximately 11.36 lakh. In 2015, nearly, 9.4 Lakh aspirants applied for the Civil services IAS Prelims Exam. Among them, 4.6 Lakh appeared for UPSC IAS prelims Exam. Almost 15008 aspirants qualified preliminary exam and appeared for the Civil services mains exam which is a written examination. From those candidates those appeared for the Mains exam, 2,797 shortlisted for interview/ Personality test. After medical test finally, 1078 candidates cracked UPSC IAS Exam and recommended for appointment in civil services under the government of India.

After receiving the admit card aspirants must read the instructions carefully. The aspirants must reach the center before time with their admit card, black ball pen, and other necessary items. Don’t carry any electronic devices and mobile phone and valuable to the exam hall.
Aspirants should write the exam with full mind and try to complete the exam within the restricted time.
