The UPSC has released the official answer keys for the 2017 civil services exam. The results of the 2017 IAS exam were announced in April this year. Telangana’s Anudeep Durishetty won the first rank and a total of 990 candidates found their names in the coveted merit list.
The first stage of the UPSC exam is the prelims exam. There are two papers here both of which are entirely objective in nature namely, the General Studies Paper I and the CSAT paper (GS Paper II). The CSAT paper is a qualifying one in which candidates need to score at least 33%. In the GS I paper, candidates need to score the cut-off mark or above. The cut-off mark is prescribed by the UPSC as per the vacancies and the number of candidates who take the exam, as per the category. The commission declares the cut-off mark only after the final results of the CSE are announced for that year.
The UPSC also releases the official answer keys after the entire process of the civil services exam is over for the given year. Click on the links below for the official 2017 answer keys for both the prelims papers.
