KEAM 2023 Seat Allotment Process

Below is the KEAM allotment process to obtain a seat in the Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical Entrance 2023 Examination.

  • The process of the KEAM seat allotment is done through a Centralised Allotment Process (CAP), depending on the rank obtained by candidates in the KEAM exam.
  • To obtain a seat in the KEAM exam, aspiring candidates must register themselves on the official KEAM website.
  • Visit the official website and click on the candidate portal.
  • Login and enter the application number, password and access code.
  • Option Registration will appear on the webpage.
  • Enter the key number and password.
  • After the registration, a set of courses and colleges will appear on the screen.
  • Then the applicant has to choose their preferences and click the save option.
  • Next, the applicants have to filter their choices. They should be able to remove or add a course or college.
  • Before the final KEAM allotment, a trial allotment list will be published. It is important to note that this list will not be considered for the admission process.
  • After the trial allotment, the final KEAM allotment results will be published. The applicants must take a hardcopy of the first phase of KEAM allotment, which will have the information about their Name, KEAM Roll Number, Category of Allotment, Allotted College, Allotted Course, Fee, etc.
  • Candidates who are allotted seats must pay the specified fees to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations via Head Post Offices in Kerala or through online payment, as mentioned in the first phase allotment memo.
  • Applicants remit the payment of the “acceptance fee” at the selected SBI bank branches through the web portal. If an applicant doesn’t make payment of the fee, their KEAM allotment will become invalid.
  • After the fee payment, applicants have to report physically at the allotted institute. They have to bring the admission fee and necessary documents for completing the admission onboarding process.
  • Applicants should crosscheck their selection before the final submission. It is recommended to take a physical copy of the filled-in options and keep them for future review.

Note: Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical Entrance 2023 allotment takes place after the KEAM counselling process. Candidates can choose a college and course at the time of counselling.
