Q1: What is MHT-CET?
Answer: Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET or MHCET) 2023 is a state-level test conducted by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai for admission to B.Tech/B.E., B.Pharm and Pharm D in the state of Maharashtra.Â
Q2: What is the mode of examination?
Answer:Â The examination will be conducted by online mode for PCM and PCB group separately. The examination is held at various centres across Maharashtra and outside the state of Maharashtra.

Answer: No, there will be no negative marking

Filling up Application Form for MHT-CET 2023 – Fill the personal details and educational details on the application form.
Upload of Photograph and Signature – Candidates must upload their recent photograph and signature with the specified format and file size.
Payment of Fees – Candidate can make payment of fees using online payment mode only.Â
Q8: What should be the size and format of the uploaded photo?
Answer:Â The file size of the photograph should be between 15 KB and 50 KB and signature should be between 5 KB and 20 KB per file. The photograph and signature must be in .jpg format.
Q9: What is the fee for the application form?
Answer: If the candidate opted for only PCM or only PCB in General Category, he/ she will have to pay Rs.800/- and for Reserve Category candidate from the State of Maharashtra he/ she will have to pay Rs.600/- as an MHT-CET 2023 examination fee. If the candidate opted for both the groups, i.e. PCM and PCB then for General Category, he/ she will have to pay Rs.1600/- and for Reserve Category candidate from the State of Maharashtra, he/ she will have to pay Rs.1200/- as an MHT-CET 2023 examination fee.Â
Q10: Will I receive a hard copy of the admit card?
Answer: The candidates must download and take a printout of the admit card from the official website.
Q11: On which subjects should I take up the examination if I want to apply for 1st-year Pharmacy courses?
Answer: It is mandatory that the candidate must appear for Physics, Chemistry and/or Biology.
