Minimum Eligibility Criteria – Qualifying Exams & Percentage of Marks
The minimum eligibility criteria, with respect to subjects and percentage of marks, are different for various courses.
For B.Tech:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics/ Mathematics/Chemistry/Computer Science/ Electronics/Information Technology/Biology/Informatics Practices/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies/Entrepreneurship.
OR
Candidates must have passed three years Diploma with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category), subject to the number of vacancies in the first academic year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
For B.Pharm:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with Maths or Biology.
Similarly, the minimum eligibility differs for courses like B.CAT, MCA, MBA, etc.

Age Eligibility
There is no age limit for applying for OJEE. Also, OJEE will not be responsible for any service regulation where the age requirement exists. The student should take admission at their own risk regarding their stated age.
Number of Attempts
There is no limit on the number of attempts for OJEE. Thus, candidates can apply as many times as possible, subject to the other eligibility criteria.
Nationality
Candidates who are appearing for the OJEE 2023 must be a citizen of India. Non-resident Indians can also apply for OJEE. For NRI, the number of seats will be allotted subject to the provisions of the OPEI (RA&FF) Act 2007 and norms of AICTE/UGC. However, only Odisha state candidates are eligible for admission to Government Colleges for Engineering/MBA/MCA courses and under any Lateral Entry programmes. Other state candidates are eligible for admission in Private colleges for courses like B.Tech, B.Pharm, MBA, Integrated MBA and MCA at the first-year level and Private Engineering colleges in B. Tech (LE), B. Pharm(LE) at the second-year level, as per their eligibility criteria, following the Odisha Govt. guidelines in this regard.
