Trigonometry

  • Introduction to trigonometric ratios (sin, cos, tan, cosec, sec, cot)
  • Trigonometric ratios of standard angles (0, 30, 45, 60 and 90)
  • Simple 2-D problems involving one right- angled triangle.
  • Concept of trigonometric ratios of complementary angles and their direct application

  • Introduction to Cartesian system, and plotting points
  • Discussion about solving simultaneous equations in two variables
  • Distance formula
