The ICSE which is abbreviated for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education is an examination that is conducted by the CISCE which stands for the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination. This board is a private board affiliated with the schools in India and conducts their exams on a yearly basis. The board was affiliated with the French Board of Examination before the year 1986 which conduct examinations through the medium of English which was in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination conducts the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Examination for the students of class 12.
