- Get enough sleep
Sleep is essential for human beings to stay active throughout the day. Most NEET aspirants try to study overnight which can be harmful if you repeat it every day. Try to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep and avoid late-night study sessions as much as possible.
- Maintain a healthy diet
Throughout your NEET preparation, it is important to maintain a balanced diet. Your body needs all the essential nutrients to function properly. To satiate small cravings, keep a jar of dry fruits and nuts next to you. Avoid junk food as much as possible.
- Exercise everyday
Along with 7-8 hours of sleep and a balanced diet, exercising every day can help you to maintain a healthy posture. Practise cardio activities such as skipping, swimming or cycling in your free time. If you aren’t a big fan of hitting the gym, try playing any of your favourite outdoor sports to stay active.
- Play memory-boosting games
Good gaming platforms like Lumosity and Really Bad Chess help you to boost your memory power. Your brain works actively while solving a problem and these platforms provide small games with challenging and fun tasks for you to solve.
- Practise meditation
Meditation is practised by millions of people around the world which helps them to find peace and focus on important tasks. In stressful scenarios, meditate for 15-20 minutes and practise it every day, if possible.
- Seek help from friends and family
Studying for extremely long hours might drain your mind and body sometimes. Keeping in touch with your closed ones through video calls will help a lot during these stressful times.
