Therefore, avoid using the phone for at least an hour after waking up and involve in other healthy activities like exercising or meditating.

The last but not the least is to delete all the social media apps on your phone. This is a huge step and you might find it hard to do so. However, if you are unable to keep your hands away from social media, then the best alternative is to delete everything and focus on what is needed.
