Joint Seat Allocation Authority, will start JoSAA registration and choice filling from October 6, 2020 from 12 noon at josaa.nic.in. JoSAA registration and choice filling will be available in online mode on the official portal. Students who qualify JEE Main/JEE Advanced will be eligible for JoSAA 2020 registration and choice filling.
The Ministry of Education has organised the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2020 to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 110 institutes for the academic year 2020-21. This consists of 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 29 other-Government Funded Technical Institutes. Through a single platform, admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes.

For any qualified candidate interested in joining any of the IITs, NITs, IIITs (Triple-I-Ts), and Other-GFTIs JoSAA-2020 registration process is mandatory. In this process, the candidates have to reconfirm some details like gender, state code of eligibility and nationality, and provide their contact details. The candidates must upload all required documents and MUST pay seat acceptance fee as per the details provided at http://josaa.nic.in to accept allotted seats (and continue to be a part of JoSAA-2020 till the final round of seat allocation). Candidates are recommended to visit http://josaa.nic.in for regular updates on the schedule of events in case of unexpected situations.
JoSAA Registration and Choice Filling Procedure 2020
Students can follow below steps:
Step 1. Register on the official website of JoSAA 2020 through JEE Main registration number and Main/Advanced password.
Step 2. Click on JoSAA 2020 Candidate Registration and Choice Filling button on the homepage.
Step 3. Fill choices of institutes and courses.
Step 4. After completion of JoSAA choice filling, students are advised to lock the choices filled within the specified dates.
