Being an IITian is not an easy task. There are two phases in order to get into IIT. The first phase is JEE Mains and the second phase is JEE Advanced. The difficulty level of the second phase is much more than the first phase. The pattern of the questions will also be different.
Education minister of India Mr. Prakash Javadekar has announced that NTA will be conducting the JEE Mains IN 2019. This exam will be conducted twice in a year. This year it will be in January and April. Lakhs of candidates will be appearing this year. Candidate can give JEE Mains two times so they have better chances to do better. A candidate can appear for JEE Mains two times in a year for successively three years, hence totally six attempts are available from 2019.
Getting admission into IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) requires atleast two years of hard work starting from 11th till completion of 12th standard. As has been mentioned above the JEE Mains will be held two times a year, candidate has to register separately for January and April exam. So whatever shortcomings a candidate faced in the January can be overcome in the April exam. So a candidate can appear two times each year for consecutive three years. After qualifying JEE Mains with high score, the candidate will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced which will be conducted in online mode for Mathematics and Aptitude, and in offline mode for drawing to test sketching skills.
