The Science subject gets introduced to the students from the 6th class. Till class 5, students had Environmental studies as a subject in which few basic topics of Science were taught to them. However, from Class 6 onwards, CBSE has introduced Science as a primary subject in the curriculum. This will help students in knowing the world around them and create interest in scientific discoveries.

In Class 6 Science, students will get introduced to basic topics such as Food, Separation of substances, Body movements, Motion and measurement of distances, Electricity and circuit, Air around us, etc. These topics will help students become familiar with the daily activities that are related to Science.
