In this chapter, students will learn to solve equations which have linear expressions on one side and numbers on the other side and also some applications based on it. They will also learn linear equations having a variable on both sides and their applications. Besides, the chapter discusses how to reduce equations to a simpler form and a linear form.

NCERT Exemplar Class 8 Maths Chapter 5Â  – Understanding Quadrilaterals & Practical Geometry
