CBSE Class 12 Maths Question Paper Analysis 2020

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has successfully conducted the Class 12 Maths exam at different exam centers today (17th March 2020). The Maths paper was of 80 Marks and 3 hours of time duration were given to the students to finish the exam. The exam was held from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. CBSE Class 12 Maths Paper Analysis 2020

Maths is an important subject for Science Stream students. Those who want to pursue their career further in this stream aspire to score high in CBSE Class 12 Maths 2020 Paper. Below we have provided the unit wise marks distribution of the Mathematics Question Paper.

  • Relation and Functions – 8 Marks
  • Vector and 3-D Geometry – 14 Marks
  • Calculus – 35 Marks
  • Algebra – 10 Marks
  • Probability – 8 Marks
  • Linear Programming – 5 Marks

As per the feedback received from students the paper was of moderate level. The paper was completely based on the latest pattern of CBSE Class 12 Maths Sample Paper 2020 which was released by the CBSE on the official website for students practice. While solving the Maths paper, students found that MCQs were tricky and questions asked from integration were difficult. However, the time was quite manageable if one had done a good practice before the exam.

All the questions were compulsory. There was no overall choice. However, an internal choice was provided in three questions of 1 mark each, two questions of 2 marks each, two questions of 4 marks each, and two questions of 6 marks each. Students have to attempt only one of the alternatives in all such questions.
