Chemistry Revision Notes for Class 12 Chapter 3 Electrochemistry

Chapter 3 Electrochemistry talks about electrochemical cells, Nernst equation, Batteries, Corrosion, etc. Electrochemical cells are of two types: Galvanic cell and the electrolytic cell. Fuel cells and Batteries are very beneficial forms of a galvanic cell. There are two main classifications of batteries. They are primary batteries and secondary batteries. Primary batteries die after a period of time and are not reusable as it cannot be recharged. Whereas, secondary batteries can be recharged and are reusable.
