The parents’ association has raised the concern regarding the schools running without a No Objection Certificate (NOC). The National Commission of Protection for Child Rights (NCPCR) had issued a notice on this matter earlier on January 2019 asking the state government to take appropriate action. But, no strict steps had been taken toward it. So, now, the parents have strongly urged the government and CBSE to give the list of schools which are running without NOC.
There are various schools in each state that are running without NOC and affiliation about which parents are not aware. As per the resources, these schools hike fees every year in the name of infrastructure and other facilities. Also, no regular classes are conducted in such schools and the quality of education provided to students is pathetic. These schools without affiliation register students through other schools and make them sit for the board exams.
Chief Educational Officer has warned the parents not to take admission of their children in the schools that do not have the No Objection Certificate (NOC) or Certificate of Recognition. This is specially meant for the class 9 to 12 students. Considering the appeal of the various parents, CBSE will soon provide the list of schools that are running without NOC. The board will take strict action towards such schools and are expected to make sure that the future of the students studying in these schools will not go in darkness.
