CBSE To Implement New Initiatives For Class 10 and 12 Students This Year

CBSE or The Central Board of Secondary Education has also taken initiatives that are student-friendly in terms of examination, vocational, academics, sports and physical education and much more. In 1998, the Board has provided the first-ever psychological counselling facility for students.

Now, the Board has come up with new initiatives to implement more value-added features to it like, counselling through pre-recorded IVRS, educative multimedia material on important issues like substance abuse, aggression, depression, special learning disability among students and coping with exam anxiety.

As stated by the CBSE Chairperson, the Board took this initiative as a sequel to the ongoing process and prepared a compendium of suggestive courses for students which will help them to get information about various course choices, institutes and combinations available in higher education beforehand after Class 10 itself.

The detailed information of courses after CBSE Class 12 is a genuine effort by the Board so that students can opt for right course choices leading to higher education later. The compendium includes various course options with different subject combinations. The Board intention is to create awareness and curiosity among students so that they explore further on the scope, possibilities, avenues, for each of these courses and to look for other options beyond these courses as well.
