 # RD Sharma Solutions Class 12 The Plane

## RD Sharma Solutions Class 12 Chapter 29

A plane is a flat, 2-dimensional surface having infinite dimension, but having zero thickness. Such that if any two points are taken on it, the line segment joining them lies completely on the surface. A plane in 3-dimensional space has the following equation

ax + by + cz + d = 0,

Where at least one of the values of a,b,c, must be a non-zero.

The three possible planes in 3-d coordinate system are

1. xy plane, where the value of z coordinates is zero.
2. y-z plane, where the value of x coordinate is zero.
3. x-z plane, where the value of y coordinate is zero.

This chapter provide you solution for RD Sharma for class 12th maths on the topic of ‘Planes.’ Practice questions to find to have better understanding of the topic. Questions in this chapter are important from the exam point of view.
